One of the true mega-stars of CBSRMT he was in 179 episodes. Recognizable from his typically older male character roles. He played Dr. Watson in several of the Sherlock Holmes adaptations. Benson died in 1995.

He was fantastic. An actor that could play most any role, and every episode I heard was completely believable. A true multi- talent!

Court Benson had an almost 40 year career in radio, appearing on dozens of radio shows including Cavalcade of America, Suspense and Yours Truly, Johnny Dollar. He appeared on Broadway and in film and television and is best remembered for his appearances on the daytime soap operas, Guiding Light, As the World Turns, Edge of Night and his reoccurring role of Charles Hayworth on the Doctors.
