After really trying to get into ‘Appointment at Sarajevo’ because of its ties to such an important event as the beginning of World War One, I kind of gave up. Sam Dan failed to develop the story sufficiently for me to care about the characters, despite the romantic angle. It really dragged. For those seeking a great story surrounding a real-world historic event, tune in to ‘Portrait of an Assassin’, the spellbinding tale of Charles Guiteau who assassinated President James Garfield. http://www.cbsrmt.com/episode-1125-portrait-of-an-assassin.html I give ‘Appointment’ a weak 1 star - JUROR # 4.
