I don't remember hearing this one when I was a teen. I listened to them for only a few years in the late 70's. Never did know they ran as long as 8 years until I found this website. Seems like I listened in 1978, maybe 79. So many of these are new to me and like an old memory at the same time. This one I never heard, but now that I'm older, I recognize that I have dated her several times. Each time she looked different, but turned out to be the same. Wish I'd heard this episode before!

Not a good episode. I'm no Social Justice Warrior, but the various messages in this episode are a bit too reactionary even for me. If you want to introduce a younger person to CBSRMT, this isn't the episode--unless he or she has the personality of a white colonizer from 1850.

Best part: "I intend to have a partnership with my husband."--Louise ~ "What most men have in mind is ownership." "Not modern, progressive, enlightened men." ~ "They're the most boring kind." Some smart writing couldn't help save this episode. I'm willing to forgive dated concepts...I believe it takes place in late 19th century...it's like a cross between Kipling & Jane Austen. Muffled sound issues & fake Indian accents. Basically the plot is "Real Housewives: India"
