☆☆☆ A "professional accident victim" (who makes a career of faking injuries for payouts) actually dies after "flopping" front of a car. Things get even darker when his hired witness uses the tragedy to blackmail the senator behind the wheel.
Great performances by Ann Williams, Ralph Bell, Earl Hammond, and Court Benson. The story delivers sharp writing and compelling drama.
It’s also a bit funny to think that the final clue—a long-distance bill from a communal house landline—wouldn’t even exist today. What a time capsule!
