Saw this one coming after the face mold was made. Alleged supernatural happenings, but all ultimately explained rationally. Bears an obvious passing resemblance to "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" which also, of course, had a rational explanation.

Predictable and yet fun. Just another slightly above average episode.

An American woman crosses the Atlantic to visit England, only to marry unexpectedly. She finds that she looks remarkably like a painting of a woman from the distant past. The newly-married woman learns that her "twin" from the past was beheaded and soon, a headless horsewoman begins to visit.

Not a bad story, but why is the plot obvious to all but Mary. This to the point of silliness.

Decent story, but it is not one of Hunter's strongest performances.

Legend has it that this ancestor was beheaded by her violent husband and now haunts the grounds. An enjoyable episode.

Yes, the murder plot was obvious to all but Mary but c'mon, she was a newlywed! I thought her show of absolute trust to her new husband was perfectly natural. And, yes, the face mask thing telegraphed their plot pretty well (but only to the listeners). The twist ending regarding a death was particularly suitable, and I smiled broadly when hearing it.

It was an okay episode, but I found it interesting news at the end about $20 million of art (what would it be worth now?) as well as more information on Watergate as an ongoing investigation (I was only 5 at the time and so I don't remember that at all).

Heard this one years ago but for got how it ended. Loved it.

This episode features actress, Kim Hunter, famous as 'Zira" in the original 'Planet of the Apes' movies of the 1960's and 1970's.

Note the British accent of Ms Beth Stanton vanishes after the first six minutes of the show.

Kim Hunter is not my favorite actress on CBSRMT. Every time she's in an episode, her voice grates on my nerves for some reason. This is her very worst episode, imo, especially the scene where she sees the headless woman on the horse. I simply hate the way she shrieks, "It's meeee! Ahhhhh!" It's so overdone and phony. I'm surprised they let her perform the scene so badly, lol! As for the story itself, it's kind of a yawner. Sorry that I just don't see much that is redeeming about this episode. Was thew Evie Juster in the Special K commercial? It sound likes her voice to me. I know the CBSRMT actors often appeared in the ads. :)

"By Jove", this a sinisterly entertaining tale to listen to! I enjoyed listening to this episode of CBSRMT. Court Benson's voice imitation of an "Old English Gentleman" is "spot on"!!!

Great story, love the comment "the punishment fit the crime for Nora". Loved the commercial on Eskimo pie! The good ole days! Cheerio!
