What a treasure trove of acting ability...

Big plot hole in this episode because my copy of this abruptly ends prematurely with E.G. Marshall narrating that the police are on the way to Thaddeus home to return the money and then to discover the dead body. Then what? Thaddeus as he said in his narrative didn't do it. What's he got to worry about? He was on his way to his girl friends house. There is no evidence that he did it. So he planned to do it, but he never did. So who did do it? I don't know because somebody cut out the last 2 or 3 minutes of the tape.

This is an interesting tale with great characters and well acted. But the suspense of the story is ruined for me as the tale peaks, because at the end of the day, the nephew has committed nothing more than theft, and technically it would be from himself, since the money would now be inherited by him anyway. He even knows the police know he was in the area before they arrive, so he can avoid the unnecessary appearance of guilt by lying to the arriving officers. At the end of this investigation, he’s going to inherit his aunts fortune.

Yes, the last minute or so was cut short. So, who the heck did the deed?
