Lot of plot holes in this episode where a rich, newspaper-owning businessman murders his girlfriend, then a traffic cop after he got a $2 ticket. Some really unrealistic situations. But worth a listen for Larry Haines jittery, sleazy part as the businessman. The Two-Dollar Murders has a noir feel to it, especially the dialogue. Best listened to late at night.

I didn’t like this one. Hard to believe such a jerk could be married, let alone have a mistress. The conclusion was lackluster and that’s pretty much how I evaluated it. The buildup wasn’t bad but the character by Larry Haines was very unbelievable.
