I liked this one. Most CBSRMT stories would have had the protagonist be helpless and relying on someone else. It was entertaining to hear how he manipulated the kidnappers. At first I was unsatisfied with the ending. It seemed that everything was wrapped up too tidily. But now I am okay with it; its like God's treatment of us: mercy and grace triumphing over judgement.

While I don't find it to be realistic, I found it entertaining. I have sometimes wondered if I was ever confronted with a situation that I felt my life was at risk by an unsavory adversary - could I keep the situation going in some way, until I perhaps found an opportunity to escape? I would like to entertain the possibility that I could.

It's interesting seeing my own comments here. I listened to all of the 1300+ shows probably beginning about ten years ago - and now I'm listening to them again. I loved most of them as a teenager in the 1970s, and, I think I am enjoying them even more now - And the commercials and newscasts bring me back to that simpler time in my life - a time we could all discuss things even with people we disagreed with. Yes, I think that is why this show is entertaining. I know it's to the point of being absurd, but imagine being able to discuss things in a calm and cool way - even knowing that your kidnappers in tend to kill you.
