This is the single creepiest thing I have ever listened to. The implications are truly soul-shattering. Every moment of your life is being observed by invisible (to us) disembodied heads, the souls of your ancestors and others intently watching your every act. I listened to this a month after I was discharged from the U.S. Navy, sitting alone at night by a campfire in the Ponderosa Pine forest of Arizona's Mogollon Rim country. August, 1979. I didn't sleep that night.

Wow. In that solitary setting I can definitely understand why it was unsettling. That would be on par with staying alone in an old gothic style mansion listening to any one of CBSRMT’s creepier episodes. Thanks for sharing!

H.G. Wells adaptation about a school experiment gone wrong with interesting consequences and view on society. Hmmm. Good listen on a rainy night.

This is an excellent adaptation of “The Plattner Story” by H.G. Wells.

☆☆☆ A chilling adaptation of H.G. Wells' "The Plattner Story" It follows a high school principal & young teacher who are accidentally transported to a mysterious dimension, an "in-between world" (even though that world sounded eerie & ominous, I couldn't help but think of "Llamas With Hats" ep4 in regards to the creepy stalking faces.). Some acting was a little stiff, but the storyline was very good. The "binaural beats" (barely there) foley for the "in-between world" was unsettling & soothing at the same time. The episode explores profound themes, invoking a sense of unease at the idea of being perpetually watched by unseen entities, possibly ancestors or spirits.
