This episode really left me with mixed feelings. On the one hand I found the idea of one man repeatedly unknowingly saving the life of another to be interesting. But on the other hand I thought that taking 45 minutes to set up what would have been an interesting place to start a story was too long.

I enjoyed this episode, the relationship between author and agent was done well and I like the actor who portrayed the writer.

I thought this was a really nice change-of-pace tale. Sort of an inconclusive ending to be sure . . . as if that was uncommon in RMT stories! But I thought the plot was very inventive and interesting. To be sure, as a previous listener noted, 45 minutes might seem a long time to tell and retell the same occurance. But again, I thought it was intriguing and cool. The question(s) of fate, predestiny, and so on are raised quite well. I was hoping for a climax or an explanation, but I can live without it. In fact, writing these comments on Show of the Week episdoes is keeping me alive. For whatever strange reason, I can't die as long as I listen to RMT and write comments on RMT . . . who'd a' thought?

I can’t go to sleep at night until I have listened to one !!! Every day, for years now.

An odd story to be sure, but different. I liked it I suppose, but it did kinda drag at some points. I expected that the man was a "real" Warlock, and he was being saved for some special deviant purpose in the future. Oh well!

Lanier

This one seemed kind of "new agey" to me in terms of its message (a departure from so many RMT episodes) but it was still interesting.
