Adapted from an H. G. Wells story. A man discovers he has the power to do and make virtually anything through sheer application of his will. He starts small, but as his wishes become larger and more grand, and the side effects are unexpected.

Wonderful episode!

Jeff

LOVE that one !!!!

Mike

An interesting story that reminds me of the movie "Bruce Almighty" (even if Bruce took things in a different direction due to where it came from). At least he realizes his mistakes early on and decides to do something about them.

Alec

Alec, this story reminded me of the 1936 movie, appropriately called "The Man Who Could Work Miracles" staring Sir Ralph Richardson and Roland Young. It was based on the same plot as the H G Wells classic because Wells himself worked on the screenplay, changing it a bit to include the communist Russian revolution. An interesting old black and white film that had some terrific special effects, cutting edge in its time, and still awe making to watch today.

I listened to this when it originally aired back in 1976 and I never forgot about it. Now that's a good episode!

Greg

Great episode. Redfield and Haley were a terrific team and they show what can happen when you have an excellent script and talented actors.
