A wealthy man in the weapons trade is irritated when his wife hires a blacksmith named Vulcan because of the parallels to Roman mythology. As he delves deeper into his work, his wife points out the increasing number of similarities between the myth and the man.

Excellent story. The ancient god Vulcan incognito, the scientist, his wife (very likable) and the story presentation is A-1. Two thumbes up.

A pretty good story about the ancient god Vulcan... or is it? If it really was about the god, we learn that immortality might not be the greatest thing to have, it may be more of a burden. It can also be said of knowledge - too much can also be a burden.

What's with the picture of Guy Sorel as he is dressed like some theatrical homo ? Just shaking my head .

Also SMH. What a theatrically stupid comment.
