This episode started out so strong. And then, there was the lamest of lame endings. 2 stars.

Martin Hazeltine has earned a fortune writing books on black magic and the occult. When Robinson Crane is assigned to interview him, the young journalist finds the Hazeltine family steeped in mystery. Why is the son perfectly healthy yet mute? Why does Mrs. Hazeltine refuse her husband any contact with the boy? And what is the age-old “mark of the devil” doing on the floor of the child’s favorite playroom -- the tool shed? Adapted from a story by Henry James.
