John Forsythe was the Public Address announcer for Dodgers games at Ebbets Field in 1936. He is remembered for his role on the TV prime time soap Dynasty.

Great voice--great look. Once I was at Hollywood Bowl--looking for celebrities--and he was there--perfectly front And center--in a box--with picnic dinner.

John Forsythe's 60 year entertainment career started in 1936 at the age of 18 as the Public Address announcer for the Brooklyn Dodgers baseball games at Ebbets Field. He worked in radio on such programs as Broadway is my Beat and the Jack Benny program. He appeared in a number of Broadway productions and in over 240 films and television programs. He is best remembered for his TV roles on Bachelor Father (1957), Dynasty (1981) and as the unseen voice of Charlie Townsend on Charlie's Angels (1976). He had numerous award nominations and won 2 Golden Globes for his work on Dynasty.
