Wonderful writer for CBSRMT for both original and adapted material. One of my favorites!

Radio mike fan

I met her in the late seventy's when she spoke at my elementary school library. I was an OTR fan at age 10 and meeting her was a thrill for me. She was so very sweet. I recall she shared scripts with us and we did a scene or two. This was in Kent Connecticut. A vivid memory for me.

How wonderful to find this page! I knew my (Great) Aunt Betty wrote mysteries for radio, but apart from two printed scripts in her papers I never knew which ones. I finally get to hear them! And thanks to the other two commenters on this page for their kind words and memories.

Rhett Pennell

Hello, Rhett! I would love to speak with you about your (great) aunt's papers. I live in New Milford and am writing about Florence Maybrick, who lived in nearby Gaylordsville. Elizabeth Pennell wrote an article on Florence ("The Cat Lady of South Kent") for Connecticut Magazine, and I also have scanned copies of her commissioned photographs of Florence's shack and one of her letters. I will try to locate you elsewhere, but please, if you get this message, please respond as soon as possible. I look forward to speaking with you. warm regards, Ron
