What a fine cast of several of actors. It’s hard to beat Ralph Bell in particular. His voice alone is so compelling.

Good story but they forgot to tell us about the interest he was supposed th pay on the investment.

Steve G. That is a huge oversight because interest rates were huge in 1979. At least 10 to 12% in the bank. I positively remember in Sept 1980 buying government savings bonds at 19.5 % interest. The rate was guaranteed not to go down for at least a year, and if they went up after purchase the rate would be increased to keep pace with the market. Which was great because just 2 weeks later rates went up to 21%, and a couple of months it was 23%.
