Anyone who has lost a beloved parent or child will weep because of this story. Incredible.

The thing that strikes me is I believe it was an Elspeth Erick (sp) a bit unconventional, even for her.

This episode helped me with grief. I suppose the best that can be said of it, is that it was therapeutic to the above and me. God Bless everyone!

Elspeth Eric is one of my least favorite RMT writers so I was truly surprised at this gem. It was moving and compelling. For Eric's fans, it's still a strange story but I was so taken in that I willingly suspended my disbelief. This tale took me deeply into some me part of my being that I have seldom gone. Worth a listen...or two...

Love. Listening to these oldies but goodies with my best late night pal Sebastien

Back in the 70s this type of story was my least favorite, I would usually not even finish listening to them. Now they are the ones I search out. Elspeth Eric is my fave !

Love the compassion and acceptance shown by the husband to the boy/stranger. I agree that this is a moving episode and job well done by John Beal. Thanks to Elspeth and cast.

I have to admit that when I see "Elspeth Eric" is the author, I have to brace myself to hear the story. This is my second time going through the collection of 1300 stories. The Elspeth stories are always deeply emotional. They are, however, very representative of the 1970s to me. But, the one was moving. I was happy that I listened to it.
