This episode has it all: murder, insanity, ghosts, and gun running. Unfortunately, the parts don't fit well together

Ron

The gun running did seem a bit superfluous, but it was an enjoyable episode. Questioned supernatural elements.

Andy

A little convoluted. I think the writer tried too much; yet it did hold my attention.

John

A man researching his family heritage runs afowl of the IRA who think he is a cop. A so-so spy thriller.

Jacques Robert B.

I didn't get into thes episode at all. Listened to it, backed it up several times, managed to get through it to the end, but there didn't seem to be much to hang on to. Something about Ireland, a bell that only those with the 'kiss of death' can hear, a lost castle, direct lineage to the castle's inhabitants, local suspicion about the castle and the old beautiful woman that lived there, a man in the present feels drawn to the castle, another woman in the present hyper-sensitive to superstition...

Joshua Aldridge

Irish Republican Army undertones. Very ambitious episode for radio theater. It was just not that great. 3 stars.

I understood the story fairly well (I think), but it was very disjointed. I don't think it helped that we kept hearing the narration from different people. I think it might have been better if it was longer and allowed to work out more details, but as it was it was too much in too short of time (as well as disjointed).

Alec

See Thackeray's "Barry Lyndon": every Irishman with a pretense to pedigree was a descendant of the great King Brian Boru!

Bill King

A convoluted story that could have been decent if not for a ridiculously contrived ending.

Lee

The storyline had potential but fell a little flat, perhaps it was a little disjointed from going from one angle in the story to another. The ending was unclear if he died from being hit or falling from the cliff. The sound effects were good. Listening to the ads and news, Watergate were what helped me complete listening to this tale that and hearing the old Irish myths, which i always find enjoyable.
