I haven't logged on in while, so I'm a bit behind in my listening to episodes. I wish I had picked a different one to listen to. Maybe its just because it is real late and I'm tired, but really didn't like this episode. It was rather anti-climatic for me. I had not heard this one before, so I can now list it as one more for the logbook, but it is very doubtful I will ever listen to this one again. I don't mean to be negative, however. I am extremely grateful to those who post the stories for us to listen to. This one was just not my cup of tea, that's all. Others may enjoy it.

Heh heh, sign of the times episode. It was a nice, neat episode reminding me of how the Iron Curtain dominated the landscape back then.

Star television reporter Diana Sherwood and her favorite cameraman, Bob Hart, working on a documentary about Turkey, are given medical aid after an auto accident in a remote part of the country by a Turkish doctor, Bulent Akduz. Another guest (in hiding) at the doctor’s house is Serpiakov, a top man in the Russian politburo. Wanted by both Communists and anti–Communists, Serpiakov appeals to the Americans to help him escape to Paris and ultimate freedom in the United States.
