I didn’t think I would like this episode. I don’t usually care for the ones with political intrigue or lots of accents; they aren’t done well much of the time. But this one is different. Marian Seldes excels here. She isn’t playing some foolish girl but instead plays a mature (not old) woman formerly of the French Resistance. The story takes place years after the war. She is framed for murder. I particularly liked the background effects. I could almost see the streets of Paris beneath the balcony.
