Felt a little like the writer wrote himself into a corner and used the "power of prayer" angle to get out of it. Still, that's about as exciting as you can make blackjack on the radio, and they deserve credit for that.

Jerry Dykman, a financial wizard, genius with numbers, and shoo-in for the vice-presidency at his brokerage firm, suddenly resigns. He is certain that by applying his mathematical talents he can beat the house at the blackjack table. Obsessed with his dream, he leaves his wife and heads for Las Vegas. His system works—so well, in fact, that house owners start thinking of fitting him for concrete boots and dumping him into a lake before they go broke.
