Act 1 is interrupted by a news bulletin about a fire at a nearby Ford factory.

Pretty sure E.G. Marshall said "today's episode is called Half Prophet Half Fiend." Which makes more sense because we have a half prophet, half fiend in the episode. Can't actually find a half friend in there unless it is the Senator.

I rate this episode ★★★★★ stars for EXCELLENT. Other than the WWJ News interruption at the 07:15 mark about a 9-Alarm fire and the missing audio between the 33:54-34:15 mark, this episode was very entertaining. Gerald Keane's adaption of Edward Bulwer-Lytton's 1834 novel keeps getting better with more plot points, more character development, and more info on the culture of Pompeii in those days. Not only the jubilant music was supportive, but also the captivating tunes during the main character's narrations. The sound effects of the crowd cheering, chains rattling, beaker of wine, footsteps echoing through the corridors, howling wind, the Lion growling and roaring, birds, construction, keys, wine spilling, and unraveling the letter were incredibly supportive. Makes you feel like you're there in the arena. In our Host's Prologue, E.G. Marshall continues this saga where it's 48 hours before Mount Vesuvius erupts. In ACT-1, our story now takes place on August 22nd, 0079 A.D. In ACT-2, he mentions the differences between the Christian religion and the Roman religion in those days. But also mentions that people thrown into the arena along with wild animals was a national sport in those times, that and bloodletting. In ACT-3, he mentions the author's view on the villain as a Half Prophet & Half Fiend. More than that, E.G. Marshall explains the greater knowledge of man & beast where one can spot danger. In his Epilogue, our Host leaves us in suspense that we must tune in to Part 4 where it's 24 hours before Mount Vesuvius erupts. And finally, our cast: Russell Horton (as Marcus Rufus and Calvus), Ian Martin (as Senator Publius Cornelius and the Centurion), Earl Hammond (as Diomed and Arbaces), and Evie Juster (as Lydia and Oriana). SPECIAL NOTE: Himan Brown plays the role of the Forman. Our 4 main actors have done a spectacular job for playing double roles. Acting performances, such as this, makes the fans of CBSRMT keep coming back for more. Until next time…pleasant dreams. =^D
