Frank Behrens was a character actor who worked primarily in theater productions. He was born on September 6, 1946, in Jersey City, New Jersey, and died on October 2, 2012, in Portland, Oregon.

Behrens received his BA in English and Theater from Seton Hall University and his MFA in Acting from the Catholic University of America. He went on to perform in numerous theater productions throughout his career, including plays by Shakespeare, Moliere, Chekhov, and Neil Simon, among others.

Behrens also appeared in a few films, such as "Over the Brooklyn Bridge" (1984) and "The Night We Never Met" (1993), as well as some television shows, including "Law & Order" and "Third Watch."

In addition to his work as an actor, Behrens was also a theater critic, contributing reviews to various publications, including Playbill and The New York Times.

Behrens is best known for his TV appearances in The Honeymooners, Perry Mason, The Andy Griffith Show, The Patty Duke Show, Combat and The Twilight Zone.
