Plot

 On a tour of Latin America, a young American woman is befriended by a jewel thief and assists him in escaping the police's notice. She cannot, however, shield him from the all-seeing eyes of the angry goddess whose jewels he has stolen.

An international jewel thief makes off with a nation's beloved treasure and boards a tour bus to escape the police who have ascended on the scene of the crime more quickly than he anticipated. The woman with whom he sits is very inquisitive and he struggles to fabricate a story tight enough to put her off the track. She is not to be shaken though and he is forced to confide in her and take her on as an accomplice.

An interesting story but I didn't think the woman's reactions were realistic, but perhaps for some they were. I was, however, expecting a different ending so it was nice to be proven wrong. It was an okay listen, but not one of the better ones.

I think the plot description should say Greece, not Latin America.

For an international jewel thief, this guy had almost no ability to think on his feet or keep his cool.
