Plot

 Several years after they parted ways, a pilot still keeps in touch with an old college flame. When her letters stop abruptly, he travels to Samoa and discovers that she is actually a princess and is set to marry another. The pair stumble into trouble when he smuggles her out of the country, much to the displeasure of her mother, and the island's deities.

The guy is so disrespectful of her culture and traditions. It makes me sick when he disparages her beliefs and tells her to just "forget 'um" (her deities). He is so rude, condescending and superior and I wonder why she doesn't seem to get upset with him for being so completely disrespectful. I'm not saying she shouldn't marry whoever makes her happy, but I wonder if she can be happy with him in the long run.

"Forget 'em" would have been the more correct way to write it, but he pronounced it "forget 'um", lol! He said many other stupid things as well.

How many episodes did CBSRMT do with strange island deities anyway? Seems like way more than you'd expect.
